Bangor Municipal Water Utility takes great pride in the quality of our drinking water supplied to you, our customers and continue to work diligently to make sure the delivery of your water is safe and reliable. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) have established the safe drinking water regulations that limit the amount of contaminants allowed in drinking water. Bangor Municipal Water Utility tests and monitors the Village water supply daily to ensure that the water you drink is safe.
The annual Water Quality Report (also known as the Consumer Confidence Report) contains information about Bangor Municipal Water system including results of required water-quality tests. The Water Quality Data table section of the report will provide you information showing that our water quality has met or exceeded the Federal and State criteria requirements. The EPA has determined that Bangor Municipal's water is safe at the levels detected. All test results are available upon request.
