Bangor Municipal was formed in 1932. In 2012 we built a new substation to aid in reliability. We serve approximately 1800 customers, 1200 of which are located outside of the Village of Bangor. Bangor Municipal has approximately 220 square miles of territory located in eastern La Crosse county and part of western Monroe County.

Below are our Public Service Commission approved rates as of July 1, 2025.

 

* POWER COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE (PCAC):

All metered rates are subject to a positive or negative power cost adjustment charge equivalent to the amount by which the current cost of power (per kilowatt-hour of sales) is greater or lesser than the base cost of power purchased and produced (per kilowatt-hour of sales).
